This site is about a new illustrated children's book entitled Smudge the Wonder Dog. Smudge is a real dog...a beautiful Great Pyrenees, and her story is told by her mom, Sheryl Fisher-Acosta, and by Smudge herself. Needless to say, they both see the same situations in a different light. This is a story that is filled with adventure, humor, frustration, life, death, spirituality and life-lessons learned. It is a book that can be enjoyed by young readers trying to deal with growing up, and the adults trying to live with them. It also delves deeply into the bond between animal-lovers and the creatures whom they love. During the writing and publishing of this book, Smudge the Wonder Dog has made over 3,000 Facebook friends who live and love her all over the world. Smudge's warm and witty personality are engaging, and her heart is filled with LOVE. She wants to spread that love everywhere!
Smudge has her own blog, "Smudge Says," where she will start new conversations and answer any questions about her life that you may have. She will also comment on anything else that is on her mind (she's a smart and wise dog too!) She will keep you up-to-date on her latest capers with her friends, Vern the Great Pyrenees, Molly Moo, Tessa Bella Mia, Klondike Akbash, Our Boy Trooper, Annabelle B. Bear, Tsavo Elliott, Max Phillips, Hercules Tullius and the rest of a posse of madcap canines and others. They just completed an exciting adventure called Pirates, Treasures, Unexplored waters, and begin a new one in June entitled ROAD TRIP!!!! In this next cyberadventure, they will traverse the wild, vast badlands and mountains of Alaska.
